2020
Internal Innovation Project at EDAG Engineering GmbH
Our journey began in 2020 when a team of initiators within EDAG Engineering GmbH – a leading independent engineering service provider with specialized expertise in 2- and 3-wheeler development – launched an internal innovation project. The goal was to create a proprietary development platform to enhance efficiency in project execution and provide customers with a foundation to accelerate their time to market.
2022
Brand Creation: project urban 2|3 and EICMA Participation for Market Validation
With a highly skilled team experienced in vehicle and motorcycle development, we presented the first drivable prototype based on our platform at EICMA 2022 in Milan. The aim was to gather market feedback, and the response was overwhelmingly positive. During EICMA, we held over 1,000 meetings and generated more than 300 leads. Surprisingly, most potential B2B customers were not solely interested in engineering services based on our platform – they were enthusiastic about the products themselves!
2023 – 2024
Preparation for a new Business product’s for B2B Customers
After the impressive EICMA 2022 with numerous motivating requests from important B2B customers we have set up a complete process & Network to bring vehicles in the market.
Therefore, the focus was on key activities like Production & Supply Chain as well as Product Sales and Aftersales Solution.
08/2024
Founding of the project urban 2|3 GmbH
With the founding of project urban 2|3 GmbH, we are proud to establish a company that brings an electric Scooter product family to the market that fulfils the needs of B2B customers. They can choose High Level vehicles out of our great standard Portfolio, or they can choose customized vehicles – perfect fitted to their needs.

Official Launch of the project urban 2|3 product family @ EICMA in Milano
EICMA 2024 is the official Launch of project urban 2|3 GmbH. We present in a world premiere all our Basic Vehicles to the public and we are starting our first Sales activities.
